A Modern View on the Problem of Using Physical Rehabilitation in Arthroscopic Surgical Interventions in Patients with Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury

The analysis of rehabilitation programs existing in the majority of the leading centers of the world is carried out. The author notes that with identical surgical interventions development of the same type of rehabilitation programs is possible. An individual approach is formed precisely in the process of determining the type of rehabilitation program by taking into account the limitations caused by patient’s general somatic state, the nature of damage to the joint structures and the features of their elimination during surgery and their own requirements of patient’s professional and domestic nature. Also, the author examined that the entire postoperative rehabilitation period is taking place against the backdrop of the gradual processes of graft incorporation in bone tunnels and its reorganization (ligamentation). It is the staged nature of restoration of the transplant that is the basis for distinguishing the various phases of rehabilitation, divided into weeks, which simplifies the task of dynamic observation of operated patients in the process of rehabilitation treatment.
