Basic Principles of Physical Rehabilitation After Surgical Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System Fractures

Based on the conducted research, a number of principles were modified, which should be guided by the system of its implementation of physical rehabilitation after surgical treatment of musculoskeletal fractures. The aim, main tasks and principles of patients’ restoration after surgical treatment of musculoskeletal fractures are determined. The importance of the structure of the multidisciplinary team and the role of its specialists in restoration of locomotor functions of the patient at all stages of recovery are considered. The necessity of existing principles algorithmization in the process of rehabilitation of traumatic patients, as well as their modification depending on the functional state of the patient, the presence of concomitant diseases and the type of surgical treatment, was established. The principles of rehabilitation of patients after surgical treatment of musculoskeletal fractures have been developed and implemented in the practice of the orthopedic and traumatology department.
