Correction of Round-concave Back in School Children Using Physical Rehabilitation

In modern conditions the problem of violations of posture is important for all children. This type of violations as round-concave back , which occurs in the thoracic spine, clinically manifested as kyphotic syndrome, in which the curvature of the spine in the sagittal direction directed backward.
The aim – to generalize and improve the differentiated method of rehabilitation of children of school age round-concave back.
The study was held at the Regional medical and physical clinic c. Uzhgorod. The object of the study were children 5–6 classes, of which 30 selected students (experimental group) aged 11–12 years of them (12 boys and 18 girls) in which the breach – round-concave back. The children were examined using the device «skoliozometr» conducted anthropometric tests.
Assessment of functional capacity was assessed before and after the rehabilitation program. The control group consisted of 15 children.
A program of preventive measures aimed at correcting posture and state of general health. Under the influence of a comprehensive program of physical rehabilitation of children with round-concave back marked probable improvements that characterize the normalization of posture metrics such as the reduction of the cervical lordosis, lumbar lordosis depth and reduce the deviation of shoulder horizontal processes (P<0,05) that reflect the performance of the device – «skolizometr». These figures correlate with indicators examination.
