Abstract

Based on the analysis of methodological support for children’s club associations, the pros and cons of the programs used in working with preschool children in the premises of children’s football clubs are identified. The physical condition of boys aged 56 years old was assessed using anthropometric and pedagogical methods of research. The program of health-enhancing and recreational activities for children of senior preschool age in conditions of children’s football club, which uses the means of football, was substantiated, developed and implemented. Pedagogical experiment involved boys aged 56 years old (n=40). Duration of physical activity sessions did not exceed 45 minutes. The workouts were done three times a week. The main activities in the program were fun games with a soccer ball: relay games, active games, contests, sports quizzes, entertainment events, holidays, story-role games. The effectiveness of the developed recommendations for organizational and methodological support was investigated in the course of the pedagogical experiment which lasted for 10 months. There have been found significant positive changes in the indicators of physical development. The study showed that the program implementation contributed to the normalization of mass and growth indicators of the participants. Furthermore, after the experiment, the proportion of boys with excess body weight decreased by 12,5 %. The distributions of children depending on the condition of the foot arch at different stages of the experiment demonstrated an increase in the proportion of children with a normal arch of the foot. Positive changes were found in the indicators of physical preparedness of the children. After the experiment, a statistically significant increase was observed for all the measured parameters, such as balance and coordination abilities, static endurance of the back muscles, and flexibility. There were also found positive changes in the results of comprehensive assessment of the mofrofunctional condition and emotional state of preschool children.
