The article is devoted to the study of the features of the use of massage in the treatment of pain syndrome in the lumbar spine in women of 2 years of age with obesity 1–2 degrees. Often people with obesity are at increased risk for developing degenerative-degenerative lesions of the musculoskeletal system, which is accompanied by the development of pain syndrome of the joints and the spine. Due to massage the blood and lymph circulation is improved in the muscles, the level of pain decreases, it is possible to strengthen the hypotrophic muscles of the posterior surface of the thigh and lower leg, as well as the lateral, and also differentially reduce the tone of the tense muscles of the back. The author examined 62 patients with malnourial type of obesity, mean age, patients data (45,2±5,7 years), which were divided into 2 groups of control (the control group was n=30) and the main (the main group was, n=32). Women in the main group underwent a course of rehabilitation based on the developed method of hydrocolonotherapy and massage. Patients of the control group were engaged in physical exercises according to the standard methodology of the treatment institution. The results of the conducted studies confirm that the additional use of massage in the framework of the developed program of physical rehabilitation for women of adulthood, led to a decrease in the level of pain syndrome in patients in the main group. Positive dynamics is reflected in a statistically significant improvement of the musculoskeletal system, the neurological status of mature women, and obese patients. Due to the reduction of the pain syndrome and the improvement of the functioning of the musculoskeletal system, women began to move statistically more actively, spend more leisure time, increase the multiplicity of walking walks per month, which can also induce the reduction of excess body weight. Improving metabolic processes, changing lifestyles and improving the psycho-emotional state of women with obesity leads to an improvement in the general condition of women, more active participation in public life and encourages more productive professional activities.
