Modern Management Technologies in 2012 European Football Championship

European Football Championship is the one of the three major sporting events in the world. It features the latest issues in the field of modern management technologies, as well as the introduction of technological advances that improve the quality of the product.
In 2012 UEFA managed to hold successful competition from a commercial point of view, which set new heights for example, in matters of attendances. Mechanisms to attract viewers by organizing the fan zones were first massively used.
They were created in all eight host cities of the final tournament of the European Championship 2012. They gathered local and visiting fans together in a safe and secure environment where they could watch the matches on giant screens. Total eight fan-zones were visited by 7005000 fans. All this has led to the best financial results from the tournament.
