It was established the level of disability of children with cerebral palsy in the world and Ukraine. The traditional methods of physical rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy are analyzed and the level of their effectiveness is determined. The urgency of the problem of forming the sitting skill in children with cerebral palsy is determined. The technique of suspended kinesitherapy for physical rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy was developed, it included three stages. The first stage was aimed at increasing the amplitude of movements in joints, relaxing body muscles, increasing muscle strength and improving coordination with the help of various subjects with the help of a teacher and independently. The second stage aimed to develop skills in maintaining the position of the body and changing it from a prone position to a sitting position; from sitting to kneeling with arms resting; crawling with four limbs; kneeling, walking on your knees, changing your kneeling position to standing position, with and without help. The third stage was intended to teach children to feel their body in space. Teach walking forward, backward with and without help. Approbation of the methodology was carried out on the basis of the State Rehabilitation Institution of the Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Disabled Children «Snowdrop» of Lutsk. The effectiveness of the proposed suspension kinesitherapy technique in the formation of sitting skills in children with cerebral palsy has been experimentally proven. The conclusions found positive dynamics in children with cerebral palsy development of the skill of «sitting» after the experiment.
