Humanization of education in Ukraine is one of the priorities of social and spiritual revival of the society, which requires specialist professionals who are able to think creatively, solve production issues caused by modern market relations. The need in qualified specialists in the scope of physical education and sport has grown significantly in conditions of establishment of Ukrainian statehood, integration of our country into the world society, activation of external economic connections.
The development and functioning of physical culture are predetermined by the factors, conditions and principles of the society existence, including the norms of cultural equivalence that presume education in the context of cultures, thorough studying of values of own and foreign cultures as the necessity of formation of a human of the future. That is why integration of education and culture is defined by the leading principle of reforming of the modern education.
The paper presents scientific data obtained as a result of a survey of physical culture teacher of Ivano-Frankivsk by the author. The material is scientifically justified because the survey of this kind wasn’t conducted in the city. The material may serve for the development of a curriculum on physical training for children of all ages. The actual results of the survey allow to improve the work of physical culture teachers at schools.
