Influence of the Technique of Dance Therapy in Rehabilitation Treatment of Women of the First Adulthood with the Disorder of Energy Metabolism and Obesity

Abstract

The article presents the results of own studies of treatment of women of the first adulthood with disorder of energy metabolism using the technique of dance therapy. Taking into account the functional capabilities, the optimal level of load of different directions for patients with obesity and violation of energy metabolism was determined. The author examined 62 patients with the alimentary type of obesity and energy metabolism disorder. They were divided into 2 groups: a control group (CG, n = 30) and a main group (MG, n = 32). Women of the MG underwent a course of restorative treatment using dance exercises. The level of load was chosen taking into account the degree of obesity. Patients of the CG practiced physical exercises without using dances. The results of the study showed a rather high efficiency of the proposed program for patients of the main group. Taking into account their own experience the authors analyze the principles and approaches to the treatment of uncomplicated obesity, consider the ways of prevention of body weight increasing.
