The Technology of Forming the Base Technique of Hand-to-Hand Fighting of Students in the Course of Special Physical Training

Abstract

The analysis of the data from specific scientific and methodological literature and generalization of the experts’ experience prove that for a long time there have been a search for the sources that define abilities to intensify the process of teaching the technique of movements in hand-to-hand fighting. Improvement of education quality within the subject “Special physical training” in higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine demands from the specialists searching and implementing the efficient methods and ways of teaching the techniques of hand-to-hand fighting, that contribute to reaching the high professional level of students. The developed method of forming the base technique of hand-to-hand fighting among the students within the course of special physical training takes into consideration theoretical principles of managing the educational process, didactic peculiarities of teaching the technique of movements, as well as rich empirical material. The basis for creating the author’s technology is distinguished by the experts technical mistakes, made by the students while mastering the technique of hand-to-hand fighting, as well as suggested by us sequence of teaching submission holds and locks in hand-to-hand fighting to the students within the course of special physical training. The method of forming the technique of submission holds and locks using multi-media information and methodology program, called «Human rights activist» is based on the visual demonstration method, which in the process of teaching contributes to creating the image of the movements being learnt and provides the student with the clear understanding of the aim of each element of the technique in the conceptual structure of the hold being learned.
